Merdeka!

Selamat Hari Merdeka! =D

I heard this really nice 1Malaysia song during the school level Merdeka celebrations but I can't find the song. It's not the official 1Malaysia song. Unlike most of the patriotic songs, it does not have the march tempo kind of beat. All of us who heard it agreed that it is one of the nicest patriotic songs. =D I hope a radio or television station will air it so that I can hear it again and hopefully get the name of the song. =)

Yesterday night, my mum's cg had cg outing at Uncle Chew Foo and Aunty Siew Lian's (Joanna's ) new bangalow in Teluk Kumbar so I tagged along. =D How could I miss this chance to visit Joanna's humungous bangalow? Plus they were having steamboat and barbeque. I'll be sorry if I didn't go. ;D These are some of the photos that I took. Please excuse my amateur photography skills.

Sales come and go too.

Mega sales are gonna end soon. Oh well, it's not like I'm allowed to shop 'till I drop or anything. I bought, let's see, 1 statement tee, 1 logo tee, 1 err...well, tee, 1 pair of shorts, 1 pair of sandals. All of which costs less than RM 50 each. I know, I know, be grateful. I am grateful but I just wanna buy more stuff. =D I wanna buy more jeans, more shorts, more tees, more shoes, basically more of everything. Plus, I still haven't bought a pair of wedges. All those ugly wedges in Prangin Mall are starting to make me have doubts with wedges. Nope. Only the wedges there are ugly. The others are super cute. ;D Aha. If I had the money, I'll be a shopaholic. =P No money, no shop.

I fell in love with this song from Hillsong United - None but Jesus. Click here to listen to it. You won't regret it. I promise. It's really beautiful and meaningful. Definitely a must listen. =D There is no one else for me, none but Jesus. Crucified to set me free, now I live to bring you praise. I wonder if the praise and worship songs we sing are actually the songs the angels in heaven sing to worship God... hmmm... I believe they are. =)

LOL's dream project fundraising was a success! Thank you Lord! =) We collected RM 1000++++++. We're praying that God will multiply the money to 10k pounds maybe? ;D The purpose of our dream project is to bless the community and to bring Jesus to the community. We're going to go on board Rapid Penang buses to bless the passengers by offering to pay for their bus fares and also by giving them tracts and key chains. We'll also take the opportunity to plant a seed in their hearts by sharing with them the gospel. =)

I've been studying more this past few days. Aha. However, I still can't go out even though I've finished my work. -.-

See. I've finished most of my revision. Plus, I've finished like 10++++++ exercise books. STILL not enough to get me out of the house. STOP. No mood to talk about that. -.-

Astronomy's interesting. =D Maybe I'll be an astronaut. Nah. Just kidding. =D The chapter on Stars and Galaxies in Science form 3 is like the only interesting chapter. Too bad it's only a few pages long. -.-

Have been using my cam lately. Normally I don't like to use it 'cause it's really bulky. By the way, I use a Nikon D50. Not that awesome but at least it takes okay photos. It was a gift from someone I think. I'm hopeless in photoshop. Hah. ._. Plus, I can't seem to take photos of rainy days. All the photos look like they were taken during a bright, sunny day. -.-

This was taken when it was raining real heavily. It's not really that dark. In fact, it was real bright. I edited it too make it look really gloomy. Because, duh, I don't like rain. But still, you can see that u can't see rain in the photo. What am I babbling about?

I don't like rain. ._. It's cold and wet. I want the rainbow without going through the rain. Rain gives me the feeling of hopelessness. For me, that is. I like bright and sunny days! I like the beach. =D I like the sun! Come on, Sun, don't be a coward. Show the rain what you're made of! ;D I'm not a emo gloomy person. Although I may be one at times. Like just now when my mum prohibited me from going to Queens.

My dad bought me a silver Myvi Super Edition!Okay. He didn't buy it for me. But I'm going to drive it when I get my driving license! If, it has not been snatched away by then by my sis. 2 more years to go to get my driving license! I hope they don't increase the minimum age required to take the license...O.O If not, I'll stage a protest...XP Please please please let me drive the oh-so-cute Myvi...

Or I could drive my dad's Honda Accord. =D

Or even better, buy me a yellow VW. 8D

Went to the immigrations office in Georgetown this morning to renew my passport. Passed by a VW showroom and saw a *gasp!* yellow VW beetle!!!! Ah!!!! drool.... XP Did you know that a VW costs less than RM100k in other countries?!!!!!!!!!

I have decided to take some really drastic actions. D: Which I'm afraid I can't reveal here too. Call me if you wanna know. ;D

It took me like 1 whole hour to fall asleep yesterday night. Guess what was bugging me? I was trying to figure out how could I save enough money to buy a pair of wedges. Yep. U read me right. And I was also thinking of how could I start taking those drastic actions. Hmm. It should not have been difficult if I had started taking those actions since I was young. But since I did not, it would take me a lot of courage to do whatever I am planning to do. ._. Boo.

I just found out something about someone yesterday and I seriously can't believe what I heard about that person. D; It made me sort of want to puke. It totally changed the way I see that person. Okay, so nobody is perfect, but I can't help looking at that person totally differently, in a bad way. urgh.. Anna Heng Yi Cheer! Stop judging other people!

And I also found out about something else. Which I regret knowing also. This one seriously grossed me out. ;O I can't write about it here. But I really don't want to know about this also! Boo..I want to delete my memory. Please please please don't do this to me. :O I'm not a blah and I'll even be more girlish **gasps in horror** if that's what it takes to stop you from blah-ing me. D:

How I wish I could just roll down the hill. =D

Yesterday my school had the cross country running thing. I ran walked from my school to Botanical Garden then up the crazily steep Penang Hill. The road was seriously super steep. I think it was like 75 degrees steep. (I don't know how to calculate gradient. Ha. =P) And to make matters worse, it was steep ALL THE WAY. There was no flat road. AT ALL. Seriously. I was crazy tired, even though I only walked. I can't imagine what would happen if I actually ran. O.O Every time I sat down to rest at the side, (It was really hard to defy gravity okay, wait 'till you try going up that almost vertical slope!) my specs would fog up. I think it was because I was radiating heat. I'm HOT. XP Now my butt muscles are sore. I can't even walk properly. It's because crazy Jiale refused to run down the slope after we reached the end of the station at the top of the hill because she was afraid that she couldn't brake and will roll down the hill. I don't think that's a bad thing Ha. So we went down the hill real slow and my butt muscles were tortured like crazy because I needed to support my body weight. It was A LOT harder than just running down. I managed to finish the 6.8km in less than 2.5 hours. Haha. XD

I got Meii Yin a birthday present from Guardian. Whee. =D Jiale, Lay Kun and I wanted to get her Maybeline's cat eye mascara but it was super expensive and we couldn't afford it. So, we bought her a Cherry Tea lip gloss from SilkyGirl instead. I hope she doesn't see this. =O We're only giving it to her tomorrow.

Meii Yin's pressie. =D It looks big but it's actually quite small. Haha. =)

If you look carefully, you can see that I actually sewed the wrapping paper! The paper just couldn't stick together so I resorted to sewing it instead. ._.

My rectangular-shaped new computer monitor. My mum bought it last week during PC fair. It's really long and it stretches everything. For example, a skinny guy will become fat. -.- Oh well, better than nothing. =)
