Going bananas.

What do you do when you have this many bananas?

Well, here are some tips on how you can finish off those bananas with a lesser possibility of vomiting. Bananas are food. Food must not be wasted. Look at those skinny malnourished African kids. Be grateful. Bananas are GOOD for your health, so EAT IT!!! ;D

1) Make a banana milk shake.

Blend it, drink it. It's simple, cheap, and best of all it tastes like bananas. ;P

Gulp it down.

2) Make a banana split.
Remember to pour lots and lots of chocolate all over it. This time, you have a reason to indulge in this sweet, fattening *it's not like I care* dessert. You're trying to finish off your bananas, remember?

3) Make fruit pasta for dinner.

At least you don't have to eat plain old rice for dinner again. That alone is a good enough reason to celebrate, no?
By the way, the green stuff in the picture are actually spring onions. I put it there just for the sake of adding some colour to it. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT ever add that to your pasta. It's gross. ;P

4) Bake banana muffins.

It actually tastes like banana cake. The only thing that is different is that it is not as soft as the banana cake. Or maybe the muffins were a failure. I don't know. ;P

5) Make a banana facial mask.

My friend made a carrot facial mask and she actually ate some of the mask because according to her, it's delicious. Eww, how gross can she get? :/

That's all that I can think of for the moment. But wait, why would you have so many bananas at home at one time? Unless your mum/dad is like mine, who buys, hold on, what is setandan in english? Checked it out, it's called "a bunch". Okay, my mum buys a bunch of bananas at one time because a man sells a comb of bananas for only RM 1 and a bunch costs like RM3-5? Obviously, we always can't manage to finish the bananas, so these tips are useful for us, and for you as well, if you or your parents are like mine. Haha. ;P

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking B1?" "I think I am, B2!" ;D

Missing Marbles.

I went to Queens today on a mission - to hunt down this really cute pair of flats from Vincci which I spotted in the Padini mag. But to my horror and dismay, *dramatic much* the Padini Concept Store in Queens is now closed for renovations and has temporarily shifted to a smaller shop beside Border's. Obviously, they didn't have the flats, either because the newest Spring 2010 collection has not arrived yet or they just do not have enough space to put them on sale given the small premises of the shop. Anyway, now I'm forced to wait for at least 2 months before I have the chance to hit the malls and find them. The flats, not Padini of course. But since the flats are sold in Padini, I have to find Padini first before I can find the flats. Oh my, I'm losing my marbles.

The absolutely adorable pair of flats which I want -

in this colour. Yes, the one on the right. ;D

Another must have - Gingham Check shirts/pants/dress/bla. I hope I will be able to own at least 1 of these. Haha. ;D I know it's a little late for me to finally catch on the Gingham trend but hey, better late than never. Gone are the days when gingham checks were only used to cover tabletops. Many designers have included gingham checks in their designs and this is one of the trends for Spring 2010!

Origami dresses! Not literally the ones that you fold using paper of course. How can you not love these absolutely positively gorgeous dresses? Put one on and you'll be the centre of attraction! Having a beautiful face and a lovely personality helps. Not to forget a good sense of fashion to match your shoes/accessories/makeup to your already eye-catching dress. Be careful not to over accessorize or pair it with shoes that hog too much attention. Keep it simple but elegant. If you fail to do this, don't worry, you'll still be the centre of attraction, but for all the wrong reasons. Hey, nothing is fool-proof.

White is such a beautiful colour. Black and white printing IS colour printing. Black and white are also colours, aren't they? ;P

What am I doing? I'm blogging about fashion. *Gasps in horror* All these studying has finally taken its toll on me. I'm going nutty.

P/S: Don't judge me if you don't know who I am. Don't say that I don't look like the person who would do this or that. Haven't you heard of the saying - Don't judge a book by its cover? I obviously can't be who you want me to be, so yeah, cut me some slack and let me be me.

Tweedledee Tweedledum

This is actually sort-of really late but this is all I have to update on. Hah. Anyway, we had our fund-raising event before the 1st term holidays and we managed to raise about RM1700 or so. The stuff that we sold: 1. Waffles 2. Ice-not-so blended 3. Sandwiches 4. Tomyam Beehoon 5. Prawn crackers 6. Jelly 7. Ice cream 8. Fish-A-Fish and the list goes on. Everything was going on smoothly until we suddenly had no electricity. That was bad. Very bad, as most of the things that we were selling needed electricity. Waffle maker, sandwich maker, blender...... To make matters worse, we had the most "customers" during that time! Absolutely perfect timing. So we lost our customers and we did not manage to sell off everything, if not we could have raised even more money. Boo.

Customers. ;D who have no idea that they are being cheated of their money Hey, it's all for a good cause eh?

Fish-A-Fish. Poor tortured fishes.

Handmade necklaces and handphone thingies.

Blended green slime.

I was helping out at the waffle's booth. Choc, Ice cream, Peanut butter, Strawberry jam.

I brought back some small fishes from the Fish-A-Fish game but most of them died and only 4 survived. Then I "caught" 4 more bigger kind of fishes during the funfair on Sunday. 3 eventually died. Then my mum bought 2 more fishes of the same kind. Out of 3, 2 died. Then she bought 6 more. All that is left now is 1 big fish and 4 small fishes. How many big fishes did I have altogether? Solve it. It's fairly easy. ;D I am destined not to have pet fishes.

All that is left.

Oh ya, did I mention that I lost in the debate competition? Now I know why the Form Fours lost last year. I just finished taking my 1st term test. Watched Alice in Wonderland in 3D. Sat in the 2nd row. From the front. It's better to be in front than to be at the back. Ate Nando's for lunch. Yumyumyum. I was so worried that I would not have enough money to pay for the meal but thank God I did. With RM 10 more to spare. Haha.

That's all for now. I'll try my best to update more frequently. ;D

Happy Chinese New Year! Rawr!

Hey, people! Gong Xi Fa Cai, Hong Bao Na Lai. ;D Hee. Chinese New Year. Time to Balik Kampung, O O O Balik Kampung O O O Balik Kampung... ;D This year, we went back to Tapah Road first, my gran's house. Earned RM25 by helping my aunt mark her student's essays. Haha. ;P Watched Storm Warriors II. Highly recommended. Not. ._. The weather's super hot! Free sauna.

Reunion dinner. The table's not big enough. Therefore, octogenarians and kids get to eat first. ;P

And then the adult's get their turn. Heehee. ;P

Angpow time! Yippee!

Mum and dad handing out angpows.

Aunt's turn to burn a hole in her pocket. ;P Traditions have to be preserved. Heehee.

Happy birthday to you, You were born in a zoo, With the monkeys and elephants, Happy birthday to you! :D

Hey there, sexy. Birthday boy striking a pose. Model material. ;D

Went to Air Tawar on the 1st day of CNY. My friends get to ride motorbikes without helmets and license there. No fair. I haven't even been on a motorbike before. Heh.

2nd day of CNY, went to Teluk Intan. Relatives from my father's side. Went for dinner with them at a restaurant. Everything was soaked in oil. Ewwwwwww.

3rd day, au revoir kampungs, hello big city-KL. Went to Ikea and bought the famous Ikea curry puffs. Yumyum. Then went to cousin's place for dinner. His house is, I won't say really super big, but it's definitely oh-so-expensive, and beautiful of course. Nice wall papers you have there, cousin. Drank 3 sips of white wine which tasted sweet unlike the usual bitter kind.

On the 4th day of CNY my true love said to me, to Sunway Pyramid and beyond! Okay, you didn't get it. Oh well, bought 2 guitar picks for RM1.80. Cheap right? Ate J.Co donuts. My fav is Chocolate Caviar!!! Drool. ;D Headed for Penang later in the evening. Balik kampung adventures has officially ended. :/

We got into the finals of the debate competition. Yippee. Congrats to us. The toughest part has yet to come. Final's on the first day of school after the CNY hols. Yikes. Our school is having a fund raising event, Hari Kantin sort-of thing in March. First time we're doing this. Can't wait! We're gonna perform tomorrow at the state level CNY celebrations. It's gonna be quite a big event. 88 drums we're performing. It's gonna be chaotic. I hope not.

I just drank a herbal tea sort-of drink. And it has onions in it. Yuck. And now I can't get the taste out of my mouth! Argh. Just popped a strepsil into my mouth. Ahh, now that's better. ;D

American Idol tonight! I'm sorry, I don't have star world. Anyway, love Ellen! Yippee! Simon's leaving! NOOOO! Oh well, I'll just watch X Factor then. ;D

Love my new blog image. My gran's clog shoes. Taken by me. ;D

'Til the next post. Ciao.

Gingerbread People

Made Gingerbread People today. ;D My mum's gonna make the icing tomorrow 'cause it was already too late. Haha. I know Christmas is still a loooong way to go but who cares? ;D

Went to Queens yesterday. Ended up buying more clothes. ;P T-shirt and jeans*which was a size too small 'cause I didn't try it on. LOL It's like very ngam ngam ho ._.* again. Heeee. ;D After that, we went to Bayan Place for lunch. Nice spiral staircases. :D

I'm starting the feel the pain in my fingers when playing the guitar. Hah. But I'm feeling more pain in my right hand especially in my pinky. Yikes. No pain, no gain.

Speaking of pain, school debate competition's happening next week. Still have not done any real preparations yet. Hah. I love debating. It's the process of finding information, facts and writing scripts that I dislike. ;D Again, no pain, no gain.

Argh, CSI:Miami's current season just ended today. Last Wednesday actually. But fear not, CSI:Crime Scene Investigation and CSI:NY's latest seasons are gonna start soon! Yippee!!! ;D

Somebody call 911!

But in this case do not call the firefighters, I repeat, DO NOT, 'cause this fire happens to be a really good fire. The fire of revival!! Wildfire Party 2 was awesome!!!! I was late 'cause I had school replacement and just in case you forgot, I'm in the afternoon school. =.= Anyway, I shared about Recess Revo in my school and my testimony sounded awfully scripted. I can't just blabber everything out at the last minute without preparing a script beforehand. ;D LOL I was so encouraged to see so many revolutionists in Penang! In teacher Wilson's words, "Now there's hope for Penang!" A big thank you to the Re-Evolve Crew for their hard work, everyone who was serving on that night, everyone who attended the party, and most importantly, to our awesome God. You guys made it happen! ;D

Brand new RR badge. Don't you think my pencil case totally matches my personality? ahemcuteahem

I have been very busy. Busy with a capital B and U and S and Y. My add math tuition teacher handed us 3 sets of exercises which has altogether 100++++++++ questions to be finished. Then there's Chemistry tuition homework. I haven't even mentioned my school work yet. Piles and piles and piles and piles of work to be done. Very sleep-deprived and fun-deprived.

Oh ya, I finally managed to high jump the correct way. I think. I used to jump over like how you jump across hurdles. Haha. It's not my fault that I have long legs. Ahemahem. ;P I'm trying my best to finish reading My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult. After one whole week and I only managed to finish half of the book. How slow is that?!

Firefighters cannot be banished to hell after they die. They'll put out all the fire there. - stolen from My Sister's Keeper. How funny and untrue is that. ;P

Busy Bee

I haven't touched the computer for a whole week! Unbelievable. I dislike Form 4 life. I don't have time for myself at all. All my nights are packed with tuition and stuff. That explains why I still haven't called some of you after soooooo long. Anyway, I'll most probably have time to write only once a week. And my 1Malaysia essay, article, whatever-you-call-it is still not finished yet. Gosh My blog is beginning to die! *Gasp!* NOOOOOOO!! *Do CPR. Break my blog's rib bones 'cause I exerted way too much pressure. In the end blog dies* ._. Nonononoo. Swt-ness. ;P I'm gonna stop saying OMGosh. Forever. It's a bad habit. I discovered that if you are always around people who speak foul language all the time, you'll be tempted to swear with them also. The same thing happens if you watch movies or read books filled with swear words. Run away from temptations. This is the only time when you should run, and not fight. You'll lose in the end. So run baby, RUN!!!!!!!

Have the courage to live. Everyone can die. - Robert Cody.
